Plain English: what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated November 2026.
Who we are
BEZI ("we", "us") buys, sells, sources and trades luxury watches in London. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
What we collect
- What you send us in a form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the watch you're interested in or selling, your message, and any photos you upload.
- What you send us directly: anything you share by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or in person while we deal with you.
- When you buy or sell: the identity checks and payment details UK law requires us to keep for a watch transaction.
- Basic visit information: anonymous statistics about how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device type). We use privacy-friendly analytics that don't use cookies or track you across other sites.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, make you an offer, find you a watch or arrange a viewing. (Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.)
- To complete a sale, purchase or trade, including authentication, payment and handover. (Contract.)
- To meet our legal obligations, such as anti-money-laundering checks and keeping business records. (Legal obligation.)
- To keep a record of clients and what they're looking for, so we can let you know when the right watch comes in. (Our legitimate interests. Tell us any time if you'd rather we didn't.)
We never sell your information, and we never tell anyone who is buying or selling with us.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run our website and records for us, under contracts that keep your information secure: our website host (Cloudflare), our secure database and file storage (Supabase, hosted in London), and our email service. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a deal are deleted after 24 months. Records of completed transactions, including identity checks, are kept for the period the law requires (usually 5 years for anti-money-laundering records, and 6 years for accounting records).
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
